Learn the timeless art of Pattachitra in this immersive workshop.
Set against the serene backdrop of the monsoon fresh farm, this art masterclass invites you to pause, reflect, and connect with one of India’s oldest storytelling traditions. Pattachitra originated in the culturally rich regions of Odisha and Bengal, Pattachitra is known for its intricate details, graceful lines, and mythological narratives often depicting the tales of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra.
Guided by Pune-based artist Pratiti Desai, who has dedicated years to studying Indian folk and tribal arts, you’ll journey into the world of traditional scroll paintings, with a special focus on the symbolic Kalpavriksha – the divine wish-fulfilling tree.
